What are the components of the clamp connection

Clamp is a connecting device for connecting grooved pipe fittings, valves and pipe fittings. It is used to tighten the clamp between quick connectors. Generally, the two connectors are equipped with gasket, rubber, silica gel and PTFE. It has good performance, high sealing degree and easy installation.

The groove connecting pipe fittings with the function of connecting and sealing are mainly composed of three parts: sealing rubber ring, clamp and locking bolt.

The rubber sealing ring with the clamp on the inner layer is placed on the outer side of the connected pipe, which is matched with the pre rolled groove. Then the clamp is fastened on the outer part of the rubber ring, and then it is fastened with two bolts. Because the rubber sealing ring and the clamp adopt some sealing structure design, the groove connector has good sealing performance, and with the increase of fluid pressure in the pipe, its sealing performance is enhanced correspondingly.
